My son and I went to Luton Library Theatre on Saturday 14 December to see this new adaptation of Beauty and the Beast and here is what we found.

As we walked into the venue it was very clean and staff were lovely and helpful showing us to our seats, we sat and waiting for the show to start at 11am and was impressed that it started on time. We was however confused with the beginning as was 4 pirates on the sea telling us the story! Once you get into the story more we began to understand it.

Disappointing that Princess Belle doesn't play a part in the show but can now see that's why it's called "The Tale of Beauty and the Beast!"

With a cast of 4 it was very cleverly done and they were fantastic actors and actresses. The stage was brilliantly set up and the props were very good.

Overall, the Full House Theatre Company production of Beauty and the Beast is a lovely family panto with a lovely storyline, just don't expect Disney's Beauty and the beast!
