Each Christmas I like to get a new game for all the family to play together, as some of the children are now teenagers it gets more difficult to find something that they would enjoy, this game is just the type of thing I was looking for.

Inside the box is everything you need (except the phone) to take on the 40 challenges, 10 of them are classics and the rest are original, there’s even a tripod for your phone.

There are no long complicated instructions to read which can be so annoying when everyone is itching to get stuck into a new game. Each challenge card is very easy to understand and has step by step photographs and instructions, states the number of players it is most suitable for, how long it will take and if there’s water involved so you can chose a suitable location. There is also a QR code on each card to watch a video of each challenge being performed and tips on how best to position your camera, so there’s no chance of miss interpreting anything.

The challenges are quite simplistic but some more difficult to execute than others, I’ll give you an example of one,
while seated place a tortilla (plastic one provided) on your head, without touching it with your hands move it down to your foot, if it falls off you must put it back on your head and start again, this is suitable for a single player or multiple players against the clock.

It was hilarious to watch and even the oldest member of the family had a go, a suggestion for a more advance version is to do it from a standing position.

Another challenge was to sit round a table and roll a ping pong ball to each other, you are out if you don’t catch the ball, once per turn you can do a fake roll and if the receiving player moves their hand to catch the ball they are out, very simple but so much fun.

When the challenge is completed and recorded you can watch it back for your own enjoyment or if you want to try to “Go Viral” share it on social media.

We all had a great time completing the challenges, it was so much fun and so good to find a game that all age groups could take part in, I also liked the fact that there were no hard and fast rules so no arguing just lots of laughs, this is a game that the teenagers will play with their family or friends or maybe even both together.

This game would make a super family gift or a gift for those always hard to buy for adolescents you may have on your list.

“Go Viral “is made by Ideal who recommend the game suitable for ages 8 and up and the number of players from 1 to 6 it is priced at £17.99 and available from www.johnadams.co.uk, the site also offers free delivery.
