Balti Nights Luton Review

Today was an extremely hot day. I was absolutely melting at my friend’s house, so we decided to take a walk into town and have a meal at Balti Nights, a fully licensed Indian restaurant. It’s situated on the town side of Wellington Street. The friendly staff greeted us upon our arrival and we sat  down at our table. The restaurant was a comfortable temperature due to a ceiling fan and other fan placed on the end of the bar area. They took our drinks order and not long afterwards the drinks were brought over to our table. My friend had a lager and I had a coca cola. We opted to have their £8.99 set menu. This includes a starter, main dish, fried rice dish and a nan dish. We both chose chicken curry and egg fried rice. We also ordered  poppadoms and a chutney tray. This came quickly and  had yoghurt, chopped onions, plus 2 other dips. All tasted amazing and perfectly complimented the poppadoms. We were then asked if we were ready for our main meal. Our chicken curry was cooked to perfection and a generously sized portion. The egg fried rice & nan tasted amazing.

Now to the restaurant itself. The décor is gorgeous. The staff are an absolute credit, so friendly and approachable and nothing is too much trouble. The drinks prices are very reasonable. My friend had a pint of lager for £2.95. The toilets are clean and tidy.

The food tastes absolutely amazing and the menu choice is excellent. I have been before and I will certainly go back again. If you don’t fancy eating in, they do offer a take away menu which you can order via www.takeaway.com.

I would have to rate it 5/5 for service, value for money & food quality.

Rating: 5/5 thumbs_up
