Venue Cymru is a large modern theatre situated on the picturesque Promenade in Llandudno, there are various options for parking either via pay and display on the road on the promenade or in a large pay and display car park to the rear. The theatre itself is very fresh clean and modern in appearance with plenty of helpful and friendly staff on site to help and direct you. The theatre had ample seating all positioned for easy viewing of the stage.

The show itself was excellent, with such a small cast it offered  a variety of singing, with amazing vocals from Coco Dubois which made you want to clap and sing along, there was also a very moving performance of the song ‘I’m a creep’ which left a few of us with tears and goosebumps. The burlesque dancing was brilliant but with more nudity than I expected but that didn’t deter from the show at all with comedy as well as encouraging audience participation. With impressive costumes and props the show really did have it all. The show flowed well and you never became bored, The Folly Mixtures performed a variety of dances as well as individual performances from ballet to some impressive hola hooping all in a burlesque manor.

Coco Dubois was very witty and connected well with the audience as did the comedy/medium and an impressive performance from a male pole dancer. The show really did have it all.

I would highly recommend the show for anyone looking for a great fun night out. The show certainly left you with a smile on your face.

I would give this show a rating of 4/5 as it left me feeling great and smiling afterwards.

Rating: 4/5
