Royal Pains is a comedy medical drama about an emergency room doctor who losing his job and moves to The Hamptons and becomes a concierge doctor to the rich and famous as well as helping the not so well off.

Dr Hank Lawson (Mark Feuerstein) and Evan R Lawson (Paulo Costanzo) are back for a third series of Royal Pains. The summer is beginning and the rich are returning to their holiday homes in The Hamptons boosting HankMed’s business. Season Three gets off to an explosive start with Hank having to deal with a bus load of injured passengers.

In season 2 Boris ejected Hank from his guest house but now offers then back their place although insists that this time they pay rent for it rather than having it for free.

Divya has cancelled her wedding and after being disowned by family has to take a second job as a nurse at the local hospital and trying to keep it a secret from Hank and Evan until a serious is made with one of Hank’s patients.

Evan has proposed to Paige who accepts but before she will wear and ring and announce it he has to asks her father for permission… a not so easy task. While trying to keep Eddie out of trouble Hank and Evan get to meet their Grandfather they thought was dead.

Overall, Royal Pains just keeps getting better. With the same medical drama and humour it is still fresh, funny and dramatic and great series filled with guest stars. The quality of the show is excellent with a great cast and superb writing. I can’t wait to see Season 4!

Highly recommended.
