I have two dogs a large breed dog de Bordeaux cross and a slightly smaller cockapoo, ok a lot smaller! My cockapoo is a fussy eater, he doesn’t enjoy eating straight from a bowl, he would much rather play and eat via stimulating interactive brain games, he always loves having to work at something to get his food, therefore I had been looking forward to this arriving as a review product that I had been chosen for .

The kibble chase arrived all boxed up, with instructions on the outer box as well as an instruction booklet inside.  There is a click button/slide compartment that easily opens so you can add dry dog food or treats, and a slide covered hole where the food dispenses out of, this needs to be closed before filling to avoid spillage.

Time to press the on button and let it do its work. I first placed it on the rug it rolled slightly but seemed to stick, so I placed it on the laminate flooring. Oh my god it went wild rolling shaking throwing food all over, I quickly picked it up and put it back onto the rug as I realised how it worked. It rolls slightly shakes out some kibble, then turns, spins, rolls and shakes out some more kibble. It doesn’t seem as wild on the laminate now I understand how it works. The cockapoo was slightly weary at first, mind you he jumps at his own shadow, this didn’t last long and he was soon loving picking up the kibble, what surprised me was when my large dog came to investigate, he is usually too lazy to work for his food, he loved it and was following it around, occasionally cornering the dispenser as he soon realised it would throw out the food straight in front of him. It will definitely be used on a daily basis.
