Its a Chicken Game Review
It’s a Chicken

A fun and exciting drawing game for kids! Can the other players guess what you are drawing? In this 'easy to play' game the sheets are pre-printed with circles to make starting the picture even easier! Each word card contains four options to draw, one with a picture to copy to help younger children play. The 'chicken' timer 'clucks' to let the drawer know they are running out of time.
When this game arrived I wasn't sure if this game would be a little young for Lewis who is 10, but after playing this game for over an hour it definitely wasn't and was great fun.
We opened the bright eye catching box and took out all the pieces and the instructions. The instructions were clear and easy to understand and adapt for fewer players. The instruction sheet also contains copies of the drawing sheets which are need for this game, so once the enclosed pads run out you can photocopy more, I thought this was a great idea. The only downside was that there weren’t any pencils included in the game, which is a vital party of the game as it involves drawing. There was also a buzzer with the game which doesn't come with batteries, but this is expected with games/toys, and luckily I had batteries had home. This may be a problem for some people though as it requires AAA and not the usual AA batteries most games/toys use.
The game is simple to understand, and even the novice artist can take part and enjoy it. It had both me and Lewis in fits of giggles and we would both definitely recommend this as a family game, for the children or for parties. I would say it is most suitable for children age 5 plus.
A great game!
