Who is the Most Selfless Mum in Britain?

Does she compromise on nights out and new clothes so dad and the kids are kept happy?

If so, Sizzling Pubs wants to hear from you. The leading chain of 217 pubs nationwide is on a quest to crown Britain most selfless mum, in a bid to give her some much needed “me time” and the recognition she deserves.

Sizzling Pubs spokeswoman, Victoria Jupe said: “During this economic downturn it’s no surprise that mums and their social lives have suffered the most.

“To ensure that their family and children eat, are clothed and kept warm, mums have put that new pair of shoes, that night out and coffee and cake with friends on hold- and here at Sizzling Pubs we plan to change things.”

The search is underway and the whole family and friends can nominate who they think is the ultimate most selfless mum in Britain. There will be regional heats for each area of the UK followed by a national showdown to choose the most deserving mum in the country.

Each regional winner will be rewarded with a prize and the overall national winner a star prize.
