Friday 13th March will be an amazing evening at Lighthouse Poole.

It’s the day that we Beyond the Barricade graces the theatre at Lighthouse Poole. The show is the UK’s longest running Musical Theatre Concert Tour where the cast celebrate the best music of Broadway and the West End.

Being a lover of all things theatre and musicals I’m expecting more than a few of my own personal favourites. Knowing that the show features numbers from The Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story, The Lion King, Blood Brothers, Miss Saigon, Hamilton and many others, I’m sure my favourites will be performed. As the name suggests, the show will climax with a spectacular finale from… Les Misérables!

There are some shows that I haven’t had the pleasure of seeing yet, so I’m hoping this will introduce me to a few numbers and shows that will make it onto my theatre wish list.

The concert tour will feature Andy Reiss, David Fawcett, Katie Leeming and Sarah Ryan who have all played principal roles in both the West End and UK Tours of Les Misérables. Backing these highly skilled singers will be a very atmospheric live band that will transport us directly into the West End. I’m sure our feet will be tapping out the beat, and we will be singing and dancing along when we can.

Tickets start from £25 and are available online at https://www.lighthousepoole.co.uk/book-online/930001/ or by calling the Box Office on 01202 280000.
