2-in-1 Potette Plus Review

Speaking as a parent of three small children I’ve found that potty training can be one of the biggest challenges in toddlerhood and can be a stressful time for parents and toddlers alike. Once you’ve cracked it at home the biggest hurdle is what to do when you’re out. The award winning 2-in-1 Potette Plus portable potty and toilet trainer seat from Cheeky Rascals is an essential tool in your potty-training nappy bag. It folds down easily and comes with its own plastic drawstring carry bag for hygienic storage and transport.

The great thing about the 2-in-1 Potette Plus when used as a potty is the 100% biodegradable disposable turtle print liners (3 supplied – replacement liners cost £5.50 for 10 or £11.50 for 30). The turtles become invisible when wet, a challenge my toddler is only too happy to take up. The liners have handles which hook over the legs and are very absorbent, turning liquid to gel. After use the handles can be tied together to make an airtight seal which means that you have overcome the problem of how to dispose of the contents of the potty, a common problem with potty emergencies in car parks, shops etc. You can simply dispose of the tied bag next time you see a bin which is much preferable to dealing with an accident.

In the event that you make it to the toilet in time, the legs of the Potette also fold outwards to become a handy non slip trainer seat which is perfectly sufficient for toilet training at home as well as being easily packed and quickly assembled. 

There are a number of colour variations available, my children are very pleased with our blue and white one and are always happy to use the Potette. Another useful thing is that you can fold it up with a liner already in place which means you can pack it away all ready for the next use. It is wipe clean and the legs can easily be detached for cleaning purposes.

I like the 2-in-1 Potette Plus because it solves so many problems in one product and really does make potty training as stress free as possible, as there’s nowhere you can’t go.
