TGI Friday’s Burgers Review

We recently visited T.G.I Friday’s in the large Westfield Shopping Centre in Stratford, London to try their burgers from their Juicy Burgers menus.

On arrival, although it was quite busy, we were shown to a table a seated right away. We were given our food and drinks menus and informed that our waitress would be over shortly to take our orders.

When the waitress arrived she introduced herself, was friendly and polite and took our drink and food orders. We ordered burgers for the adults while the child in our party decided she didn’t want a burger and chose a steak from the children’s menu. TGIF have a variety of burgers to try but I ordered the Classic American Burger from the Classic Burgers menu while my friend ordered the BBQ Smokehouse Burger from the Angus Burger menu:

Classic American Burger – Simple and perfect. A 7oz* burger with fresh cos lettuce, red onion and beef tomato on a classic toasted bun. Choose from Friday’s® mayo or cheese.

BBQ Smokehouse Burger – A distinctive, delicate smoky flavor. A juicy Aberdeen Angus beef burger loaded with smoky Applewood cheddar cheese, Applewood bacon and a tangy sauce. Served with a creamy BBQ ranch sauce on the side.

All the burgers are served with crispy fries and a dipping sauce.

There are 4 burger menus so should be something for everybody – Classic Burgers, Angus Burgers, Twisted Burgers (which includes Texan Wild Boar and Kickin’ Veggie Burger) and Hot Ciabattas.

We didn’t have too long to wait for food order and when it arrived the burgers looked enormous on the plate. The food was great. The burgers were nice and juicy with good quality beef and freshly prepared salad and tasted superb. The children’s steak (Cowboy Steak – A tender 4oz* rump steak served with crispy fries and baked beans. All kids steaks are cooked well done) was not tough and chewy so the child in our party absolutely looked it and wants to go back for more.

Overall, T.G.I  Fridays is an excellent restaurant that I highly recommend you try. The staff are polite, friendly, attentive and efficient without being pushy. the restaurant and its facilities are very clean, the tables are cleared very quickly but at no time are you made to feel rushed. With their bottomless soft drinks, cocktails and great tasting food this is a great restaurant for lunch or an evening meal. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great with its good music and friendly environment. The burgers are great value for money and we all left very full and happy.

I highly recommend you trying T.G.I Friday’s and will be back for more.
