Men-U Ultimate Shave / Skin Set Review

My husband hates shaving as he has sensitive skin and tends to wait until he looks scruffy and stubbly before he actually gets round to it, but I must admit I am not a fan of this look, so I was delighted when I was offered the chance to review the Men-U Ultimate Shave/Skin Kit for him to try. He received four items in a trendy multi-coloured striped zip-up toiletry bag, which has an internal compartment ideal for storing other items, like a toothbrush or razor, and will be ideal for taking on holiday with him, or just for keeping all the toiletries neat and tidy.

The Men-U Ultra Concentrate Shave Crème comes in a 100ml size pump action bottle and contains enough cream for up to 165 shaves. My husband always uses a shaving brush and found that this cream lathered up really well. He was very impressed by the way the razor glided easily across his skin with no nicks or cuts. After rinsing, he then used the Men-U Ultra Concentrate Matt Skin Refresh Gel, which was absorbed quickly into his skin, leaving no oily residue. His skin was beautifully smooth, soft and lightly perfumed.

The Men-U Ultra Concentrate Healthy Facial Wash also comes in a 100ml pump action bottle. We tend never to use “normal” soap in our household as we find it damaging to our skin, so this soap-free facial cleanser is an ideal alternative. My husband loved this product, as he suffers adverse reactions to many cleansers, but this facial wash left his skin clean, fresh and oil-free. He finished off his facial with the Men-U Ultra Concentrate Facial Moisturiser Lift and said that his skin felt amazing after application.

All of these products can be used sparingly and will probably last for quite a long time. My husband is very pleased with the end result. No more complaining about problem skin – he now looks sleek and impeccably well groomed. I would certainly recommend this skin kit and Men-U.
