I accessed the digital version and have a copy saved in my files in my iPhone. This is a very informative, easy read. The good thing about Cathy Mumford’s Menopause book ‘Embracing Change – Your Natural Guide to Menopause’ is that Cathy has poured her heart and soul into sharing information on menopause, nutrition, wellness, practical tips, and lots more. The explanations and the actions to put in place yourself are all within reach for each and every one of us . Already, I have taken up only a few of the recommendations and I believe that I am feeling the benefits, my hot flushes seem to be less and I am loving the recipes included. This book is worth the money if you want to support a natural positive healthy menopause..

Cathy Mumford’s Menopause book ‘Embracing Change – Your Natural Guide to Menopause’ should be available to EVERY single woman!

I am 58 and I am still experiencing many of the symptoms of the menopause. This is the first book I have read on the subject and I wish I had discovered it about 10 years ago! Over the years I have just put up with the menopause, like most other people. However, I continue to experience changes in my body and this book has helped me to understand what these changes may mean for me and how I can take control and manage some of the symptoms for myself by looking my closely at my diet, increasing my exercise, managing my sleep hygiene and creating space and time to be more mindful.

My mother had an awful menopause and did it ‘cold turkey’ with no help, no HRT or any kind of medication other than the typical, low dose anti-depressant tablets that the doctors back then always wanted to put you on. I don’t want to be experiencing hot flushes, sleepless nights brain fog etc into my 60’s. I watched my mother suffer for years not knowing how to help her. Having never taken the contraceptive pill and in general having a natural approach to my health I have – to date – avoided HRT.

Unfortunately, the effects of menopause can be utterly debilitating for many women, affecting their physical, mental, and emotional health and often impacts on their careers and relationships too. But conventional therapies come with side effects that sometimes seem nearly as bad. Author Cathy Mulford shows how you can alleviate the symptoms of menopause naturally and effectively; through diet, healthy sleep patterns, exercise, and relaxation.

Embracing Change – Your Natural Guide to Menopause also includes 20 delicious recipes. All are easy to make and brimming with vital nutrients, such as calcium, magnesium, and essential fatty acids. You’ll also find recipes to make delicious smoothies, a section on skincare, pages about journaling, space for shopping lists and an area to diarise the changes that you are making. Positive affirmations such as ‘I am capable of achieving my goals and creating the life I want’ and ‘I am in control of my emotions and my thoughts’ will support your journey.

This is the ultimate guide to combating the effects of the menopause the natural way.

I plan to encourage all my friends to read this book.

Thank you Cathy for raising my awareness and giving me a new approach to my menopause.”
