I’m so thankful for TheraTears Screen Eyes 5-in-1 Eye-drops. My eyes feel fresher, more awake, hydrated and far more comfortable during prolonged screen use and when spending time outdoors. I’ve also noticed significantly less irritation and itchiness. The added UV and blue light filters are a particularly useful feature given my daily screen use.

Many of us spend hours each day using phones, tablets, computers and televisions, whether for work or leisure. Extended screen time and even prolonged reading can leave our eyes feeling dry, tired and strained. When our devices need charging, we act immediately, yet we often overlook caring for our eyes. That is exactly why I believe in putting ‘eyes before screens’.

A little background – This helps provide context for my experience with the product.
Around 15 years ago, I experienced what felt like sand in my eyes. Constant rubbing left them sore, red and inflamed, forcing me to stay indoors for several days. At the time, I assumed sand was the cause, but I was later diagnosed with Dry Eye Syndrome.

Since then, I have used daytime eye-drops and a night-time gel, both of which worked well. However, as you’ll see in this review, I have now switched to this brand for daytime use. It is also why I live by the motto, “Eyes before screens”; after all, what good are our screens if we do not look after our eyes?

The packaging uses soft, soothing colours whilst remaining bright and eye-catching. The information is clear and easy to understand, and the pixelated design immediately drew my attention to the benefits of the eye-drops.

The bottle is lightweight and compact, making it easy to carry in a handbag, desk drawer, travel bag or car.

What impressed me most was the range of benefits packed into a daytime eye-drop, including added UV and blue light filters for extra reassurance during screen use and time outdoors. As someone who spends many hours working on screens and has minimal sub-capsular cataracts in both eyes, protecting my eyesight is important. Combined with my prescription sunglasses, these drops give me added confidence that I am looking after my eyes both indoors and outdoors.

The drops are easy to dispense and apply, feeling gentle on the eyes without causing stinging or blurred vision.

What stood out immediately was how quickly they improved comfort. They provided an instant cooling, refreshing sensation, leaving my eyes feeling lighter, cleaner and more awake. With continued use, they felt noticeably more hydrated and less strained, particularly when using screens, reading or spending time outdoors, with the added reassurance of UV and blue light filtering.

This is an excellent-quality product at a very affordable price. As a 5-in-1 eye-drop, it delivers multiple benefits, and despite the compact bottle size, a little goes a long way.

The bottle feels well designed, easy to squeeze and consistently dispenses the drops. The formula is gentle yet highly effective.

After just four days of regular use, the difference has been remarkable. My eyes feel less dry, itchy and tired, and noticeably more comfortable throughout the day, especially when using screens, reading or spending time outdoors.
