My boys haven’t watched Woolly and Tig on CBeebies, so they are not familiar with the characters. But they still loved the book.
It is a simple little bedtime story, with Woolly the lovely cuddly spider getting ready for sleep. Each page is a night scene with bright yellow stars and little colourful illustrations. Woolly comes in the form of a finger puppet peeking through each page, giving goodnight kisses as you go through the book. My boys love counting the kisses with Woolly.
The book itself is well made, a good size with thick board pages that are able to be wiped clean of any little spillages. Woolly the finger puppet is a bright and cuddly, again really well made and attached securely to the centre of the book. I’m sure the book will stand the test of time and has quickly become a favourite with my 2½ year olds.
