The Gingerbread Man Review

I recently received The Gingerbread Man from Ladybird books and my young daughter (age 7) decided that she wanted to read it to my 11 week old twin boys for their bedtime story.

The Gingerbread Man is a classic children’s story that is still going strong. With the classic line “Run, run as fast as you can, you can’t catch me, I’m the gingerbread man!” that my daughter now keeps singing. A tale of escape and freedom but will he get caught?

Overall, The Gingerbread Man is a good classic children’s story that is very quick to read and a good length for a bedtime story or for children just starting to read. A nice hard backed book with some great colourful illustrations and a good story.
