Murad is an international brand. The person behind the brand is Dr Murad MD.

The cleansing oil is meant as an “all in 1” cleanser for the face and eyes. It is made up with a range if oils including sweet almond oil, olive oil and jojoba.

The packaging is simple and the instructions for use are clear and easy to follow.

You massage the product into dry skin for a minute and it can be worked into the lashes to remove eye make-up.

My first impressions were it was a thicker consistency than I had expected. It doesn’t have much of a fragrance – just smells of oil! Because it is quite thick you need to use quite a lot.

I tend to have a dry skin so the oil felt nice to use. I worked it into my face and neck and removed with water. You can’t really splash this off like a facial wash. I used hot water and a flannel. I usually use a separate eye make-up remover but used this as I was reviewing it. It did remove mascara effectively.

After rinsing my skin felt nice and supple.

Personally I wouldn’t use this to remove eye make up on a regular basis as any oil not removed could leave puffy eyes due to the delicate skin around the eyes.

The only downside is if this gets into your hair line while cleansing your face it’s not easy to rinse out as a facial wash would be.

My overall opinion is that this is a nice gentle product. It is ideal for someone that needs a simple basic facial routine. They say it is for all skin types I would say it’s better for 25+ age range. You need to make sure it is rinsed properly with no residue being left on the skin.

Generally a nice professional product.
