In this day and age of social media and online presence, personal websites and blogs are becoming increasing popular. But how do you go about building your own and design it to how you want it without having to pay a web designer a small fortune? With Incomedia’s new Website X5 12 you can do just that and the only know how you will need is how to use your computer and no coding skills are required.
Website X5 12 can easily create your own responsive website in a few mouse clicks to work on mobile phones, tablets and desktop PC’s with very basic knowledge.
If you are already planning your website you will probably have already purchased a domain name (the url address that people type in their browsers to find your website). If not there are plenty of websites out there to purchase these from as little as £1 and you will need somewhere to host your website with can cost from a couple of pounds per month. Once you have your domain name you are ready to go.
Website X5 has a very simple user interface that is straightforward and easy to use. Just pick a template (over 1000 available) you would like to use unless you are creating your very own unique look, set the minimum resolution for the device you would most like the website to work on (i.e phone) and click next. You can then select pieces to edit and what you would like on your pages with simple drag and drop. So if you wanted a Youtube video on your homepage drag the video button onto the workscreen, double click it and add the link to the video. The video will now display on your home screen.
Website X5 has lots of functions such as over 4000 royalty free images, add shopping carts, protect photos you may use from unauthorised copying and that is just the tip of the iceberg.
This simple piece of software is very easy to use and you can have the basic outline of your brand new website in minutes. You can add pages and menus as you build it, can save to disk for viewing and editing, preview what your website will look like as you go along and when you are completely happy with your design upload to the web ready for the world to see.
In 30 minutes I had created a 4 page functioning website in 5 easy steps with text, pictures, videos and forms that worked well on my mobile, tablet, laptop and pc and adjusted well for each device. You can build as many sites as you like and adjust settings, colours, text, videos etc. all very easily and with a retail price of only £49.99 (£139 for the Professional version) this is an brilliant piece of software that offers excellent value for money to completely customise every aspect of your website giving you total control.
I can highly recommend this software, it looks good, is very easy to use even for a complete beginner and the cost is extremely reasonable.
