Coconut Merchant is a company proud of their ethical principles and policies. They only use natural coconut as their ingredient and have won many prestigious awards such as the Veggie awards as their products are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Raw Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is a multipurpose oil which can be used for cooking or as a beauty treatment and contains nothing less than 100% Coconut.
When this product arrived, it was packaged beautifully in a box with my name on a gift tag. I opened the box to find my 35ml jar of Coconut oil safely wrapped in shredded cardboard looking very neat and tidy. My only criticism of the packaging is that it was an extremely big box for a very small product and in a world of excessive waste, this did not have to be such a big box. However, all of the packaging was recyclable meaning it was not going to end up in a landfill somewhere.
I took the jar out and had a good look at it. It was a lovely designed jar which said exactly what the product was in a simple yet slick way. I opened it and explored the contents. The oil is in a solidified form which is why it is such a versatile product. It can be used for frying, baking and roasting food providing a beautiful coconut flavour to your cooking but at the same time it can be used as a moisturiser for skin, lips, hair and beards. What an incredibly usable product I can hear you thinking. It must be really expensive surely? Well I am pleased to say that it is not. The 35ml jar retails at the small cost of £1.99 which in my opinion is a complete bargain and if you subscribe or buy in bulk, it is even cheaper (£18.99 for 12).
The coconut oil has the most beautiful natural coconut smell and is lovely and smooth to touch. I personally liked to use it as a moisturiser for my dry hands, but it could be used practically anywhere you like.
With Christmas almost upon us and people always keeping their eyes open for a bargain, this product has to be one of the most cost effective, versatile stocking fillers you will ever find. It is suitable for men as a moisturiser. It is suitable for women as a make-up remover / moisturiser. It is suitable for teenagers’ skin and also suitable for the chef in the house. You could literally give this to anybody and it would be usable and beneficial to them in more ways than one. So, if you are stuck for stocking filler ideas, place your order now and treat all the special people in your life to a little pampering.
