With the help of my test subject (my partner) I have been testing out Hugo Boss’ “Boss Bottled Collector’s Edition” fragrance.

Boss Bottled was launched over 15 years ago and now exclusively for Christmas it has released its collector’s edition, presented in a sleek gunmetal grey bottle.

With top notes of Apple, heart notes of geranium and cinnamon, base notes of sandalwood and cedar wood, with a refining component of vanilla, this Eau De Toilette could easily be worn during the daytime to the office as it isn’t overpowering or for a meal/night out, making this product quite versatile.

Unlike myself who can quite easily get through half a bottle of perfume in a week, my partner sprays his scents sparingly, so I was impressed that 5 hours after applying it I could still smell it rather well, though overtime the scent softened and it was the vanilla notes that were more prominent.

When looking at the price I was slightly confused by the fact the 50ml bottle costs £41.00 yet for £52.00 I can get the 100ml bottle (which I find to be quite a bargain), so if you can spare the extra few pounds its most certainly worth getting the bigger bottle.

Both myself and my partner were impressed by this product and he would be more than happy to receive this as a Christmas present as I know plenty of my male friends and relatives would also. Definitely something to add to the Christmas shopping list.

Rating: 5/5 thumbs_up

RRP: £41 (50ml), £52 (100ml)
